I have a Franklin-Holten 4 valve Euphonium(made in 1909, I think), silver plated and really nice. One problem I have is that the valves are so worn that they leak alot of air and even some water comes out of the bottom of the valves. They're so loose that I can move them sideways and hear it hit each side of the casing. I think it needs more than a thick oil so what could I do? My repair man said that I could have the valves replated. If that's my only choice where can I get it done at? and how much?
