Get the weril. It's closer to $1700 but worth every penny. One of my students is using a small top-action Yamaha which probably cost much more and has only 3 valves. Second line F# just won't play when fingered 23 on that instrument, but it's fine on my Weril, which has the same size bell, and four front valves arranged to fit a human hand.
