I have been made the offer of buying a Cerveny BBb, 4 rotary valve tuba. Rotary valve tubas don't crop up much in the UK, especially second hand! I already own a 992 Sovereign and a German modified St.Pete, and haven't had chance to properly look at this Cerveny yet.
Has anyone played an old Cerveny (probably 20 years?). Will it be a much different sound to the other tubas I already have, or should I not bother? It'll probably be the equivalent of $1300.
Any input gratefully recieved (besides slagging the St.Pete.We've had enough of that on here!)
