Rick and Joe went to A&M and Texas respectively, two schools clearly inferior
to Rice where I went. They were also probably well aware of the Marching Owl
Band (MOB) and its fine musical tradition. Here are some links for fond

Finally, I tried to find a full online account of the time the MOB was
surrounded by angry Aggies and had to escape in food service trucks, but
