The F. Schmidt brand tubas sold by Brook Mays are actually made by VMI. VMI is part of the company that also owns B&S, but I can never keep those corporate relationships straight. The models 3301 and 3302 are well made, good playing BBb tubas. Whether they are right for you depends on the way you play, but they are worth considering if you are looking for a solid BBb tuba.
