Where are you in east TN? The UTK ensemble is going to the TubaChristmas in Harriman, about 45 minutes west of Knoxville. It is this Saturday at the high school there. The rehearsal is at 10, and the performance is at 11:45 (Registration at 9:30) I am guessing from the sounds of it that it is not too huge of a spectacle. It supposedly has a great audience turnout with lots of people that love to sing Christmas carols. (I'm typing up the song sheets right now.) My prof from UT, Sande MacMorran, is conducting it, and the coordinator is a dentist named Joe Williams. Let me know if you'd like more info.
