I was just commenting on the prescence of the instrument, I will inform you that I am not one of those players who you referred to in previous Tuba Christmas Performances. The point of my comment was the presence of the instrument and its brillance. The instrument has a fine playing quality and is very clear out front. To assume I am one of those so called players is not an appreciated statement. If you would like to hear a recording of the concert, I would be happy to send it to you. A big sound is what I have focused on for years, not an edgy raunchy sound. My teachers are Tommy Johnson and Jim Self and thats not the style they teach. Thanks for responding, and have a great day!
