Yes, this is the mike I have, with my Sharp minidisk. It does not get the quality I want, although I agree the quality is good. It lacks presence? Is flat? Not sure how to describe it. It records strings and voices well, brass and piano not as well. I am still looking for a better mike, but will have to be quite convinced before I spend major bucks on it. I'm wondering if two mono mikes wired in stereo for the MD, might be less expensive in the long run.
Oh, and on the Sharp MD....at least the one I have, you can't fast forward on it, only skip tracks, and I don't like that feature....I want to be able to FF _through_ a track, because there have been things in the middle of a 10-minute track that I had to just wait five minutes to get to. It gets old. Don't know if there is a MD out there that will do FF like a CD player or tape machine.
