played on a B & M / Nirschl / etc. 4/4-size CC tuba (all look about the same to me, except slight differences in the "guts") that had a "handy" scale...

...EXCEPT one once that had "B/M Symphonic" engraved on the bell...and had a very curious 5th valve set-up. The "B/M Symphonic" was sort of "St. Petersburg-ish", though, as far as construction...A LOT of sandpaper and buffing (rather than craftsmanship) was used in the manufacturing of the bows.

Getting back to the original inquiry, you might drop it off at Baltimore, Dillon, or LowBrassWerks - depending on where the tuba is now located...or get brave and ebay it with an opening bid of $3800 on a ten-day auction. One thing about ebay, when GOOD and SEMI-RARE stuff is offered up for bids there, it SELDOM goes at "bargain" prices.
