You can obtain plastic rim mouthpieces from different places. Try Doug Elliott mouthpieces, Charlie Krause at Brasswind, or "Giardinelli's" but first ask yourself......."Why do I want this plastic rim". When I was playing in the military I used one but it was for a specific purpose. (cold weather playing etc.) Why do you need one? Don't spend the money if you aren't sure. Good Luck
