I purchased a St. Pete back in December from TE. The horn has (to me) a very fine sound, and easy response in the upper and lower registers. The drawbacks might be that the horn is very fragile and dents easily, and there is a rather uncomfortable metal brace in the bottom bow of the horn. It was very affordable in price, and as I play mainly for leisure and at school (demonstration purposes) a very good buy. AS for comparisons with "Die Tuba", it looks to be the same horn.
