I use a Perantucci PT-50 with my Mirafone CC 186. For me, this combination produces dark coloration and sonorous sound, particularly in the low range. This mouthpiece takes a little getting used to, but I think if you stick with it for about four weeks you will probably be happy with the results.
Keep in mind that the perfect match is a THREE way proposition involving the horn, the mouthpiece, AND the individual player. Every situation is different, and results vary.
