I only have the origanal LP release of this album. Is Roger Kellaway's "Morning Song" on the cd version? If so Roger used a B&S standard bore f for this piece. For most of the album he played a Mirafone f tuba with a Besson f tuba bell. He used this set up from about 1976 to 1979.
The Yellow Bird was recorded around 1974 on his Besson f tuba.
The CC contrabass horn is a one of a kind instrument made for Roger by the late Larry Minick. Mirafone made the valve set and Larry fabricated the rest of it. It really is a great instrument!
