With your feet together, push your knee as far forward as you can without lifting your toe. Only when your knee is as far forward as you can get it does your toe leave the ground. When it does, raise your knee until your thigh is parallel to the ground. Now put your leg down the same way you brought it up. It's called a powerstep, and very few bands do it anymore. Now do that at 150 beats per minute and play at the same time, keeping alignment etc., etc. That was our college pre-game step. I don't think it can be done with a convertible, because it's hard enough to balance yourself, much less a horn. Talk about aerobics!

Specific circumstance, I know, but darn if that wasn't a lot of fun. :^\

BTW, the bottom bow of the souzy's always was around my upper thigh.
