I was looking for $6500 for my 822. I know this might sound a little high, but the horn lists for about $8000, I've had about $2000+ of work done to it by Matt Walters of Dillon and Ron Partch. If you are interested I can post all of the work done and that price includes a Walt Johnson Custom flight case that has only been in flight once and a regular hard case (Yamaha w/ wheels). It's also without a doubt the best playing 822 that myself or any of my teachers have played, it's a great horn and I hate to see it go.
