Forgive my ignorance, I'm relatively inexperienced with piston valves as I just purchased a MW 45SLP F tuba and it's the first piston I've played in years. So, the problem is that my valves have a tendency to stick unless I push them down exactly correctly. This didn't happen for the first couple weeks I owned the horn, and it seems to get worse (argh) when I oil the valves. This leads me to belive it's related to the valve oil I'm using. Although I know it could just as easily be something else. Anybody have any experience with this problem? Thanks for your help.
