Does anyone know what company would have been responsible for a tuba (BBb, 4 rv) going by the comany name of "STAR"? As I recall, it had "East(or was it West?)Germany", or just "Germany" engraved on the leadpipe. The horn looked very much like a "Sonora" that a friend had.
I don't own the tuba anymore (for a long time now...), but I was just curious if anyone knows about the horn's true identity.
