The British receiver on these things is much smaller than the standard American or continental European receivers you are probably used to. He should get a Dennis Wick mouthpiece, the regular shank, not the L, to fit this receiver. There are probably others that will fit, but the Wick is specifically made for this receiver. I would suggest the Wick 4 (NOT 4L) for a young student. It should cost around $65 from any of the major stores.
