Godfrey Daniel, Mr. Denney, my first solo in front of people most of whom I didn't know was also "In the Hall of the Mountain King", probably the same Rubank version, but not in a book, a sheet version, with piano, leadenly (not exactly a sprite melody) but lovingly played by a ten year old me in 1951 on a pint-sized E flat at some kind of District contest in Newton Falls, Ohio, a place to which I have never returned, but I got a "I".
