Our BD made a good point in that while music stores will finance instruments, they're not banks and usually cannot give as good rates. So the best way to cut the cost (up front) would be to borrow the money from anyone you can (grandparents, bank, credit card, parents, etc) and pay the music store up front, and then pay off the loaners over time. $60 a week would (hopefully) give you enough to pay well over the minimum each month on a credit card, allowing you to get a good horn and build a good credit history, which is rather important for your future as i understand it.
