Ive noticed that modern players usually say "more air more air" and you take it further and say less vibration, cause it restricts the air.
But i remember from my Portrait of an Artist cd with Arnold Jacobs talking, and he says a lot folks ask him "how do you get enough air to fill that horn?" and he responds by saying im not filling the horn with air, im filling it with vibrations . The horn is like a super duper megaphone that should be amplifying the vibrations in the mouthpiece.
