I believe that the cause of this problem is usually tracked to a lack of firmness in the lower lip. What is occurring is that the upper lip is vibrating at, say 220 vibrations or cycles per second. If the lower lip is not firm enough it begins to vibrate in sympathy with the upper lip and usually at half the virbration speed of the upper lip, so at 110 cycles per second. When this happens you get the double buzz but also the lips come into contact with each other less as they are vibrating at oposing speeds. I usually find that if I bring the lower lip in slightly or increase the firmness of the muscle tissue, it goes away immediately.

Give it a try and see what happens.
