Another way to think about this is to aim your airflow toward the bottom of the backbore rather than the center of the mouthpiece. That minor adjustment will accomplish what Roger describes. You can practice this by blowing air (with an embouchure of course) into the center of the palm of your hand. Then slowly move the point of contact down just to the top of your wrist - this is a very small motion. This should be enough to help the DB to a degree. One last thing - don't practice more, don't practice less - just practice. Don't react to the DB when and if it occurs and it will resolve itself in time.
