The community band I play with has one electric bass guitar and three tubas. It has become very frustrating as a tuba player to compete with the volume of sound coming from the guitar. We also recently found out that the keyboard player will play bass lines if there isn't a piano part... We've all voiced our frustration and yesterday one of the tuba players called it quits until things can be resolved... Anyone have a similar story or advise on how to make things better?
