I've been looking at the 3pv Besson with bell front on the Balto Brass site. Thinking about summer concerts in the park. The price is right. Looks to be in good shape. It would certainly do the rep we'll play, and I've been curious to try a 3 valve comp ever since I read Dr. Young's comments. Only question that occurs to me is whether a straight stack is available to replace the bell front, just in case I want to.
Anyone have any experience with this?
