Never saw front bell Bessons in Europe. It is my understanding, that these were only made for the US market, and that they never came with alternative upright bells.

However there used to come quite a number of the non-detachable bell up variant up for sale on the web. They have the same bottom bow and ferrule, so they would at least work as a source for a spare bell, if they had shot valves.

A problem with these older Besson BBb is, that they have the old style narrow leadpipe and the small receiver, which narrows down your selection of applicable mouthpieces.

Like on the Eb's, where the leadpipe from the modern 981 apparently works well on the older Eb's, you may use a leadpipe from the modern 994 on the old BBb with good results.
