I would also contact an attorney. There was a big article in the Detroit Free Press a couple of Sundays ago about the problem that people have recovering stolen merchandise from pawn shops. Apparently, by law, at least in Michigan, the pawn shop does NOT have to return the item to its rightful owner since it paid the crook pawning the item legitimately for the item. Know your rights before involving the law and confronting the pawn shop!!!
