Are there any good ways to clean your tuba at home without taking it in to the shop (that is that are more complete than just rinsing out the slides, or something like that)? I've heard trumpet players say they soak their horns in a bathtub, but have been hesitant to try it until I can get someone to confirm that it's OK.
