I know, I'm not Sean, but just a quick thought --
If I think too much about my embochure, that's when I frack the most often. If I think music, sound, and distance, I sound much, much smoother.
To quote a line from the epic cinematic tale "Caddyshack" -- "be the ball, Danny, be the ball..."

PS -- In Farkas's book, the photos of the Chicago SO brass section's embochures show quite a bit of variation, and they're all top-notch performers. Something more to think about...
