My son is in 6th grade and starting out on the tuba. I'm
trying to educate myself, and get him one to practice on at
home.
questions I have:
1. clearly tubas come in different keys, Bb, Eb, F, C, but what's
the difference between a Bb and BBb tuba?
2. some tubas are "compensating", what for? ("Their missppent youth"
will not be appreciated as an answer...)
3. are there any tuba brands where there's a consensus to "just say no"?
