Can anyone relate experiences with buying mouthpieces over the internet from MouthpieceExpress, Brasswind, etc.
Do they have them in stock, or do you get backordered? I am waiting to order until Monday when I can talk to a live person on the phone.
Also, why don't internet retailers have "in stock" confirmation when you place an order? How hard would it be to have a real-time inventory check linked to the website? I hate paying for something before I even know if they have the item in stock.
Don't you love how internet retailers use the "shopping cart" imagery - "put" the item in the cart, then "empty" it at the "checkout" as if you have really physically touched or at least confirmed that they even have the item. Then you get billed on your credit card and told that the item is backordered with 4 to 6 week delivery.
