Matt: Can you describe the playing differences between the 18" and 20" bell versions for us on the BBS? I recall very much liking the horn at last year's brass conference, especially the 5th valve arrangement.
I am especially intrigued by your comment about how easily the horn can be played in tune. In my more limited BBb world, it has been my observation that the intonation on Conn, King and York tubas was more consistent and generally much better than the European BBb tubas, even the old Alex I used to love.
