You must play the 2nd movement of the VW, then. The first movement part you are wondering about is easy to do on an EEb but only after several weeks on the Concone-Marchesi or some such low etudes. I was once in a situation where my band director and I both auditioned for the same symphony job; I won and his reaction forced me to leave the school music program since I could do no right from then on. Hope your teacher is a civilized man and you two can live with the outcome.
