Or they'll have the opportunity to play in a brass band and learn treble clef transpositions on both the CC and F tubas. It's what 3 other fellow tuba pals and myself have done. And yes, CC & F tubas are allowed in Brass Bands these days! We have to be able to compete(transpose) with our other brass relatives!
