OK, despite a crying need for reason, the lil LeBlanc HP tubas
are now part of the discussion. Sheesh next we'll be saying those "budgie" tubas
from china are worth a blow! Seems odd that these whole new lines of tubas never make it out here to our goofy CA coast, but I hesitate to make any more acknowledgement than that,
'specially since the drubbing I took questioning the legions of ravers over the 52/56 horns over a year ago.
So, since NO dealers on this side of the Rockies seem to think UMI is willing to help them make a buck off of sale of one or two horns every six months
(read: UMI wants volume-focus dealers to pander to them)
... is there any chance I can get a familiar point of comparison?
Maybe Joe or Charlie or an enthusiast-user-owner can tell me,
how's the UMI construction compare to, say, that hallowed icon
of workmanship, the "St. Pete"? IS it worth twice the money?

Dale "wonder what the best thing since sliced bread will be after UMI hawks 500 copies" P.
