Has anyone ever thought how great it would have been had Beethoven had tubas to utilize, or better yet, Bach? I sit here listening to it, and it is genius, but I can't help but ponder what they would have written for us, and would it have put us in a better position in terms of parts of later composers. Am I the only one out here who has thought about that, or is it a common theme out there?
