Can you believe how sharp SO MANY very expensive tubas play? I mean, it is almost like they were built in CC instead of BBb! (And whoever heard of a tuba pitched in C? Preposterous!!!) Thank goodness for those alternate fingerings!
I am glad that you were able to find a nice fatboy BAT that plays in tune, Rick.
You know, some of those things play well in tune, and then folks go to chopping and sawing and then BANG! another tuba that plays 200 cents sharp.
Weird.
