Ok, heres a thought. Why does anyone in this great country of ours need to unionize? Labor unions have out-lived their usefullness. They have now for the most part become political organizations and puppets of liberals, and the Democratic Party. I didn't get into music to become rich. I do it because its what I love. I just don't understand what they really have to complain about. When you hire union labor, you have to pay too much for it. A player should negotiate his or her own contract and benefits, not a group of people who just want your money. Union Labor often bankrupts businesses and I guarantee you if I were running the Houston Symphony i'd probably cut some un-necessary jobs as well.
