Did you have to extend the tuning slide on the Distin? The BBb ones are exceedingly uncommon, but if they play anything like the Eb instruments, they must be very special indeed.
I've got a 190-something Keefer that Larry Minick put together with Conn short-stroke valves. Ugly as sin, but a great BBb.
