I would like to ask a good question: Why does everyone hate on Miraphones?
They may not be as hot as a PT-6 or some other pro horns (cerveny? meinl-weston? )
but to a tuba player that has to deal with a school provided Bach (Bach makes tubas?) Tuba, and a 3/4 Weirl (the latter,which in my opinion, has awesome response), a miraphone (188-5U) would be blessing beyond belief.
