The first decent tuba I played was a Mirafone, the first (and to date only) new horn I ever bought was a Mirafone, and if any student I knew came to me asking what I thought the best, all-around horn would be for their first purchase, I would recommend that it be a Miraphone! They are consistently good horns, well-built, very reasonably-priced, and sound great. What more could anyone need or want?
