- The "K" in the spelling obviously referred to profiting from selling 2nd-world Russian consumer-grade junk in the U.S. to sloppy shoppers.

- Let's get real. The Martin 4-piston front-action 6/4 fixed bell-up (rare as hell, and extremely desirable to the Martin crowd) would sell easily for $4K (or maybe a good bit more) on ebay and a St. Pete auction would end with "no bids" if started at $2k.

- With the St. Pete currently being priced right at the same amount as the newly redesigned King 2341, anyone who would buy a new St. Pete is a silly-billy.
