The Pro-Tec bags are ok but come on only two sizes. The smaller bag fit a long tall horn like a 186 pretty well. A two bedroom house will fit into the large one. An HB 2 is a short, squatty horn and will slide around in the small Pro-Tec. Newer Reunion blues bags are poorly made and not worth the price.

Alteri bags are well made and are custom made to fit the horn but have little padding in critical areas so the instrument is more prone to damage. Check into the Cronkite bags which are made from the old Reunion Blues patterns. Tony Clements sells them as does Steve Ferguson. They cost much more than you have budgeted but will offer better protection for you horn.
