the smaller bag will barely fit an 18 inch bell, but it will fit. The bag will also be too tall. The "advantage" of the tallness is that you can roll up a little blanket and stuff it in underneath the bottom bow for extra "protection".... ;^) The Pro-Tec bags are probably the best value out there IMHO.
