Is it me or are some folks perhaps moving a little away from BAT-type instruments toward slightly smaller instruments?
There seems to be a lot of excitement over the Mira 1291 CC (and Bb for that matter!), Besson CC (?), MW 2000, Gronitz PCM etc.
All 4/4 - 5/4 instruments.
I guess these are mostly new horns which may explain some of the excitement but I don't hear the same noise-levels about the new-ish MW 2265.
The BBS founder has sold his York-a-phone for a MW 2000 I believe. His personal circumstances may have dictated a change but he is not the only one it seems to me (except I can't think of other examples!).
Anyone else noticed something or am I losing it?
