I also am a happy owner of a St. Petersburg BBb. I have had mine for about eight months, and I really enjoy playing it. I play basically for my own pleasure after not having played for twenty years. My St. Pete has a wonderful resonance, and plays very evenly in all three registers. I prefer the sound of a BBb or a CC for my listening enjoyment as well as my playing. I have played Besson, King, Marzan, Meinl, Conn, and Cerveny horns, and except for the Meinl, my St. Pete plays as well or better than any of those.
