I too feel this horn has a good core sound to it, nice centering of notes. & I feel while looking at the horn that it was "built" as a CC model. Did yours have the tuning slides fit completely into the slide tubes.? because each of these slides partly IN & bottom out as if they were tuned to BBb tunning & do convert the horn to BBb. I think it is well intonated with extremely open sound.

Did Walter Sear sell the opperation as a whole or did it get "parted out" ??, I would like to find the original tunning bits for CC playing if at all possible.
