I agree with Chuck. The Yamaha YBB-641 is a fine instrument. Sure there are bad ones out there. Most all tuba brands have at least some instruments that are off now and then. There are a lot of people out there who seem bent on "slamming" certain instruments and I believe that to be juvenile. Not everyone will like the same type of instrument or will have the means to spend a lot of money. I get tired of reading the negative remarks about St. Petes , Yamahas and others. Let's try to be positive about these instruments for the sake of those who may be playing them. I have played on several of the Yamaha 641s and have found them to be fairly consistent. I believe them to be good instruments.
