This reminds me of something that I noticed in the Hungarian "Tubaiskola" F tuba book.
All the fingerings for a 4 valve F tuba are carefully laid out and discussed (0,2,1,3,4,23,24), but 12 is never mentioned in the entire book. Is it a common European point of view that 12 is unsuitable for playing? Or does this reflect a particular type of tuning employed?
