I like a patina on raw brass instruments, but I prefer a shine on silver horns. I have never been much of a shine freak. I mean....the thing is going to get dirty. That is all part of being a tuba player. Now that I have had this horn for 2 years...I need to give it a flushing out...and while I'm at it....I will polish it.
